Thank You from Warren Action Group
What an incredible evening we had at the WAG Firework Display on Saturday 1st November 2025!
** A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a fantastic success **
Special thanks to our County and District Councillors for their financial contributions, along with our generous community donors, whose support ensured the event could go ahead.
Thank you to our brilliant food vendors Sultan Catering, MTK Pizza and Coronato Bros Ice Cream for keeping everyone well fed and happy throughout the evening.
Thanks to Aid2Gambia for bringing the flashing light toys and the Hook-a-Duck to raise funds to refurbish Ambulances to take to Gambia.
We’re also deeply grateful to Alpha Security staff, Basegreen 1st Responders and the amazing Phenomenal Fireworks Display team for their professionalism and expertise in keeping the event safe and spectacular.
A heartfelt thank you to all our community volunteers who gave their time and energy to make sure everything ran smoothly and safely, we couldn’t have done it without you!
Our appreciation also goes to the staff at Gedling Borough Council (GBC), viaem and the Police representative on Notts Safety Advisory Group for their invaluable support in ensuring all legal and safety requirements were met.
And of course, a massive thank you to everyone who came along on the night! Your enthusiasm and community spirit made for a fantastic atmosphere that truly brought the WAG community together.
Thank you to everyone who donated prizes for WAG’s Tombola stall. The WAG Tombola and sweet sale raised over £200 and over £200 was collected in the donations buckets. This will be put towards Christmas Lights for the area to bring some festive cheer to our community.

Warren Action Group (WAG)

WAG (Warren Action Group) is a residents’ association for Warren Hill, Warren Wood and part of the Top Valley area, known as “The Gardens”. WAG was established in 2006.
The aim of the group is to work with residents, service providers, councillors and the local police authority to make the area we live in a better and safer place to live.
Public meetings for residents are held 3 to 4 times a year (normally June, Sept, Dec and March). Local councillors (parish, district and county councillors) together with representatives from Gedling Borough, St Albans Parish Council, Emmanuel Church, Nottingham City Homes and the police authority are all invited and welcome to attend the public meetings.
WAG relies on donations and being able to secure grants to fund our activities and events. If you have any issues that you wish to raise please look out for the next flyer inviting you to attend the next public meeting. Or email us at wagng5@hotmail.co.uk
